What altruism did Kanoute display then?
The penalty miss that he gifted Arsenal?

Always liked him - had a great career, on his day a world-beater. There were rumours that his religious beliefs were disruptive at the club - I was never sure what to read into that, I think it was very likely a flimsy excuse. It's hard to ever accept someone's own account of their altruism at face value, but sounds like his heart is in the right place at least.

Infidel - I genuinely believe that we wouldn't!
Villa away - left the hotel fine, fell asleep on the coach to the ground, woke up with a sore neck and refused to play.

If he hadn't lamely tapped that penalty straight at the Arsenal keeper we would not have been relegated that season.
Fact.

Good read that.
Didn't he have a trial with us first, am sure he had about 20 shots on gaol and we were all singing "Sign him up" etc Of course we did and then he turned into a mardy Frenchman.
